Mortality

February 8, 2009, 4:55 p.m.
Question: 24 years old. What were you doing at the age of 24?
Choices:

A. Hectic life of being a student
B. Working your way to become the youngest CEO of a company
C. At a crossroad in life
D. Enjoying the day, by day, by day
E. Just generally living

Me? I guess all of the choices do/will apply, with the exception of B. heh xD

Well, for one 23 year old M; the choices aren't his to choose. He won't be able to reach his 24th birthday you see.

M very recently passed away; leaving many of his family, friends, and acquaintances saddened and for some - traumatized.

This is where my belief differ from an atheist's or sometimes even from my agnosticism [xD]

Life in itself is beautiful, and we have to cherish every moment of living to the best way that we possibly can.

In death however, no one living can vouch for whether if it's an A or a B.

Therefore, although it is probable that we waste away to nothingness; I choose to believe in a better option - that we won't.

p/s: M was a friend of many of my friends. Though I don't know him personally, I got to know from my friends and my housemate - Bisexual B that M was a very enjoyable person to be with. I asked B if he can describe M in a word and his answer was "Humanitarian" .

RIP Mr M.
