I thought hard on whether or not readers of this blog knows that I’m an avid fan of slash fanfics; particularly of my fondness for the 4 major communities which are:
At one time, I was pretty confident that I did post something to that effect i.e. I have already come out as a closet slash fanfic reader here.
Upon deeper personal insight however, I think I’ve only ever state that in my own personal LJ [of which neither you knows nor read I think].
At the time, as I haven’t come out to my lil sis, cousins and my friends; I maintained quite a number of different blogs/sites to segregate my personality appropriately. 4

The content was true. My lil sis and I now shares slash links that we find hot and sweet and romantic now, especially H/D. 5

The post above mentioned something about the legality of slash fanfics, and fanfics in general and how Anne Rice vehemently rejects the idea of it, whilst JK Rowling kinda embraces it to a certain extent
(mainly as long as they’re not too sexualistic in nature/character)I know it’s not the best and the most accurate source of information, but Wikipedia has compiled a great writing on this, or alternatively source the net for extra info.I’m hoping JK Rowling won’t eventually be like Anne Rice. It’ll be very shitty if she does.
I remembered among my fondest memories of high school in a boarding school were the moments when I would abuse my right as a librarian and read Lestat/Marius slash fanfic when I was on duty and whiled away my time accordingly. [The Vampire Chronicles slash fanfics were still existent then]
Enough with the reminiscing huh? Can’t help it. Sorry.
To end, I recently found a new and fresh Drarry community that focuses on something I love, so might be crashing into them for a while. 6

I’ve tried reading some TwiHards’ fanfic mainly Edward/Jacob but they’re so terribly written that I wanted to gouge out my eyes from reading them. The writers might have improved over the years though, so I might pay ‘em a visit later :D
I’ve started using Markdown and MultiMarkDown as a language to write my entries. Tumblr uses the same language, hence the similarities. I think they’re a godsend and thought pretty hard on why haven’t I adopted this earlier. I’m currently using Byword and Marsedit to post to Blogger.
Also, I’ve refreshed the blog’s layout. I’m from an old generation of bloggers, so it took me quite a while to adapt : ) :

Drarry’s communities are large, and is the best amongst the slash fics that I read. Some novel-length stories are so good that I’ve even printed some of them onto a book form. One in particular is so damn sappy that every time I listens to Sinéad O’Connor’s Nothing Compares to You, I’d pretty much fucking cry (but I’d still read it anyway) ↩
It’s so hard to find good reads on 3 and 4, but they’re usually classed 18++ ratings where they’re usually categorized as PWP [plot, what plot] which means they’re basically porn, without much plot in between. Lol. I read this when i need something light to brighten my day k :D ↩

Come to think of it, I really am quite blessed - in the sense that I am surrounded by people who are sympathetic to my gay ‘

While I might have found the Drarry communities hot, as we’ve past Christmas and New Year’s Day now [at the time of this edit], I’ve kinda buried myself under Zenonia and Chop Chop Caveman - 2 iOS games which are pretty addictive. Also the game Robotek ↩
