Dear Mr Tuesday

Happy morning everyone.

Although my early morning started with a lil argument with Slutty S, I'm glad that it wasn't the foreshadowing event of my day today. I'm so glad for that. I'm currently sitting in a small cafe in Dublin's city centre, enjoying a half-full english breakfast with the morning paper, and one of Marian Keyes' novel which I had earlier nicked from my lil Sis [I'm aiming to finish reading it today or this week by the latest lol] I actually am regretting a lil bit that I didn't bring my laptop to my morning breakfast now coz there are too many things happening on the news that deserved to be penned upon.

Among them are:

1. Emiliana Torrini is performing in The Academy on March 11th. I would never let myself go should I miss her concert. One of my idols.

2. I was just reading Tun Dr Mahathir's latest entry in his weblog http://www.chedet.cc/ yesterday; regarding UK newspapers' absense of any Gaza-related news. Tun is currently in the UK. Anyway, what's even more horrifying is that now, Sky News has also taken the same stance as BBC is taking and they're not broadcasting a Gaza public appeal saying that they are passionate about defending impartiality and by broadcasting the public appeal, it would seem that they would be breaching that. Shame on you BBC, and Sky.......

3. About 4 days ago, the whole of Ireland was shocked when the Garda (police) apprehended a 40 year old woman for crimes against her own children. The worst crime that she committed was forcing her then 13- year old son to have sex with her. When giving his own account of the incident, the son said he was crying all the way through the incident when it first happened; and as her mom took advantage of him, the only thought that he had was "you're my mother, how can you do this to me.....". Anyway, she's in custody now and they are still investigating it. What horror........

-until I can find a laptop, happy good Tuesday, and happy belated Chinese New Year XD-

-I'm off to spend some time in a bookstore and try to find some really good novels to buy. It's been weeks since I have read an enjoyable read.-
